Board of Directors Bios


Dave Reisenauer brings over 16 years of non-profit leadership to the Morgan Hill Community Foundation. Prior to his involvement with the Morgan Hill Community Foundation, he worked with regional homeless shelter programs, high school and college mentoring programs and with the United Way.

A graduate of Santa Clara University’s Engineering Management Master’s program, Dave has over 20 years of engineering and technical management experience. He began his career as an engineer at IBM and in January, 2003 joined Hitachi as the Director of Global Information Technology Operations. Dave and his family have lived in Morgan Hill for 7 years.


Jeff Perkins is a Senior Vice President with South Valley National Bank in Morgan Hill. Jeff manages the Commercial Banking Group for both the Morgan Hill and Gilroy offices. Jeff has 27 years banking experience, having spent 23 years with Bank of America before joining South Valley in 2001.

Jeff is also a Board Member of the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce, the Chairman of the City of San Jose Federated Employees Retirement System and a founding Trustee of the Mariposa High School Grizzly Scholarship Foundation.

Jeff and his family have lived in Morgan Hill since 1996.


Mario Banuelos works with geographic information systems for the City of San Jose. He has lived in the south bay for over forty years attending school locally and earning a BA in Mathematics from San Jose State University. Over the years, he has been active in various community organizations and currently serves on the South County Dayworker Committee.

Mario and his family have lived in Morgan Hill since 1988.


Marilyn Librers brings a background of non-profit management and fundraising to the Morgan Hill Community Foundation. In 2006 she was appointed by the Morgan Hill City Council to the Centennial board of directors where she serves as treasurer. In addition, she has held leadership positions with the Mt. Madonna YMCA, The Morgan Hill Mushroom Marti Gras Festival and the Morgan Hill Community Health Foundation. She has also been a campaign manger on several political campaigns within Morgan Hill.

Marilyn owns her own consulting firm specializing in nonprofit fundraising. She is a Parks and Recreation Commissioner and serves as advisor to YAC (Youth Advisory Committee). Marilyn is a member of Rotary International, and the Gilroy Elks Lodge.

Marilyn has lived in Morgan Hill for over 30 years.


Kerry Tobias brings to the foundation over 25 years tax and accounting experience as a CPA. She entered public accounting after receiving an MBA from the University of Santa Clara. Intrigued by the opportunities to use the income tax law to benefit businesses, Kerry returned to school and received a Masters of Taxation from Golden Gate University.

Widowed as a young mother, Kerry's interest in estate taxation and the estate administration process comes from her personal experience. She has completed the Estate Planning Certification Program for CPAs and enjoys working with individuals in arranging their estate to meet their lifetime and succession goals.

Kerry has used her accounting background to assist many not-for profit organizations serving as treasurer of the local United Way, Chamber of Commerce, Land Trust and Hollister Downtown Association.


Linda Wieck is a Principal with Mercer Health & Benefits. Linda manages the Health & Benefits practice in San Jose. She has over 25 years group insurance experience, having spent the last 20 year with Mercer. Through her company Linda has participated in service projects for Junior Achievement, The Giving Tree, Children’s Shelter of Santa Clara, Second Harvest Food Bank and other charitable giving programs.


Linda is a graduate of the University of Redlands Management program. She and her family have lived in Morgan Hill since 1991.


Nancy Cossaboon Miller has over 25 years in various executive human resources positions within the high-tech industry. In 1995, she retired from Varian Corporation, where she was director of corporate human resources, and formed an HR consulting firm focusing on small businesses. She served on the board of directors of The Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties for over ten years, as well as on the board of directors of KARA, the preeminent grief counseling organization in the Bay Area.

Nancy is a graduate of Boston University and received an MBA from Notre Dame de Namur.

Nancy has lived in the Bay Area for more than 25 years. She and her husband have resided in Morgan Hill since 2004.


Michael Brookman has been a police officer with the City of Morgan Hill since 1986 and supervised their Scouting USA Explorer Post. He is a graduate of Leadership Morgan Hill, Class of 1996 and served on its board for seven years. Michael has also been on the boards of the Mt. Madonna YMCA and Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce. He has volunteered as a State Park Docent at Henry W. Coe State Park since 1989. Michael worked on the Morgan Hill Friday Night Music Series and other community events in the South County. He is a member of several service organizations and lives in San Martin.


Marisa Otto brings to the foundation 20 years of business management experience in various positions in the high tech industry and 7 years in the financial services industry with Edward Jones. She served on the board of the Rotary Club, and is currently the President of the South Business Networking International. In addition, she has volunteered in several local fundraising events. Marisa is a graduate of San Jose State University in Management Information Systems, and has received an MBA from Ateneo De Manila University. She is also a member of the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce, American Association of University Women Morgan Hill Chapter, Women in Touch, and San Martin Neighborhood Alliance.

Marisa and her husband Richard have lived in the Bay Area for more than 20 years, and she operates her financial services business in Morgan Hill.


Martha Bell has over 25 years experience in the telecommunication industry, holding various positions before retiring from Pacific Bell. She serves on the board of directors for several organizations in South County. The organizations include the Gavilan Employer Advisory Council, United Way of South County and the South County Collaborative

Martha is the Community Services Director for the Silicon Valley Independent Living Center , a non-profit which serves seniors and people with disabilities in Santa Clara County.

Martha has lived in the Bay Area all of her life. She and her husband have resided in Gilroy since 1991.


Zack Alves is a marketing specialist with over 10 years of small business and corporate marketing experience. He is the founder of Uppercut Marketing, a Morgan Hill-based agency that provides marketing support to local, independent businesses.

An active member in our community, Zack has a leading role in the Morgan Hill Downtown Association's Business Owner Committee. He also founded and organized Downtown Morgan Hill's "Share the Love Weekend", an annual Valentine's day-themed shopping event that raises funds for local and national charities.

Zack, also an experienced performing musician, has organized many live events benefiting causes ranging from cancer research to disaster relief.

Residing in South County since 1990, he is a four-year resident of Morgan Hill .


Ed Struzik is a Business Solution Professional in IBM Global Business Services, in San Jose.  A native of Waterloo, NY, he has lived in the Bay Area for over 12 years and has been involved in various non-profit activities for that entire time.

Ed has held several leadership positions in the Gilroy Garlic Festival Association, serving the last three years on the Board of Directors, and as the President of the Board for 2008. He also serves on the Board of Morgan Hill Pony Baseball and is the Junior Varsity Baseball Coach at Sobrato High School.

A graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, he served 8 years in the US Army Corps of Engineers at various locations, including Germany, Panama and Ft Campbell, KY.

Ed and his family have lived in Morgan Hill for the past 4 years.
